Job summary

Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast is seeking a dedicated kitchen team member to support the cooking and food preparation areas. You will help maintain clean and sanitary kitchens, operate dishwashers, stock stations, and follow all ServSafe and OSHA standards.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. This is an on-site role with opportunities to grow within the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Able to communicate with our customers and fellow employees.
• Understanding of OSHA rules and regulations as required.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Work environment may be wet/humid and involve exposure to moving parts, fumes, chemicals, heat, and noise.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchens, cooking equipment, and utensils in a clean and sanitary manner according to OSHA and ServSafe standards.
• Removes garbage and trash to designated pickup area.
• Operates dishwashers and other mechanical devices to assist kitchen operations.
• Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and food storage areas; wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
• Stock serving stations with utensils and ensure safe working conditions.
