Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and fellow employees.
• Understanding of OSHA and Your Right to Know Rules pertaining to the MSDS Book and regulations.
• Frequent walking and talking; occasional standing; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; lift up to 100 pounds.
• Occasionally exposed to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and extreme heat.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all BOH work areas (kitchens, prep areas, and dish rooms) and equipment; assists with daily cleaning.
• Removes garbage and trash from all operating venues; ensures cans are clean and relined.
• Cleans mechanical devices as needed (dishwashers, ovens, ice cream machines).
• Adheres to safety, cleanliness and sanitation standards per guidelines and ServSafe.
