Job summary

Legends Global in Toledo, OH is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Steward to keep dishes, utensils, and equipment clean and organized during high-energy events at the Toledo Complex (Huntington Center and Glass City Center). Under the direction of the Executive Chef/Sous Chef, you will help maintain smooth kitchen operations and support cooks during peak production.

This role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt quickly.
• Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and maneuver heavy carts.

Responsibilities

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils, loading them into dish racks and dish machine.
• Deliver clean items to storage areas and to cooks as needed.
• Wash pots and pans by hand, with soaking/sanitizing solutions.
• Dispose of trash and recycling; sanitize waste cans.
• Sweep and mop floors; keep kitchen surfaces dry and safe.
• Notify Kitchen Supervisor if dish machine or rinse temps fall below standards.
• Transfer supplies between storage and work areas.
• Assist Cooks with food assembly during high production events.
