Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a kitchen support/dishwasher to clean dishes, glassware, pots, and utensils in a high-volume venue. You’ll maintain clean work areas, assist with stocking and transport, and ensure safety throughout the kitchen.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work extended hours including late nights, weekends and holidays. Experience in a high-volume kitchen and strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a high volume kitchen.
• Excellent customer service.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand, sit, use of hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
• Must be able to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels, obtain supplies and equipment as requested per venue.
• Ensures that assigned areas are kept clean and orderly.
• Ensures that requisitions are delivered in a timely manner.
• Assist with emptying pallets and stocking storeroom and side stations.
• Set up and maintain a clean, neat and safe work area.
• Wash all china, glass and silverware.
• Clean all equipment, pots and pans.
• Store all equipment in proper locations.
• Sweep and mop all floors in the kitchen.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Transport food and equipment throughout venue.
