Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Ohio is seeking a team member to wash dishes, keep the kitchen clean, and assist with deliveries while following health and safety guidelines. You will attend required trainings and work scheduled shifts as part of a team that supports company programs and standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean floors and equipment, providing courteous service to customers and Team Members, following procedures, and performing opening, mid, and closing duties.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must follow health and safety regulations and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows and complies with established procedures, including health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment per standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing; reports safety hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store leadership.
