Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking a motivated team member for dishwashing and kitchen cleanliness duties in our Texas store. You will maintain sanitary conditions, assist with deliveries, and support customer service while upholding health and safety standards.

Role requires reliable attendance, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to learn through trainings. Prior retail experience is not required, with opportunities to advance through experience and performance.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Must be able to follow procedures for health, safety, and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows and complies with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment to WFM standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing; reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store leadership.
