Job summary

Atrium is seeking a part-time kitchen helper in Cary, NC to clean and sanitize equipment, wash dishes, manage trash, and assist event teams while maintaining sanitation standards. No experience is required; we’ll train the right candidate. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• No experience? We’ll train the right candidate.
• Food Safety Certificate or willingness to complete training within 90 days.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, or squat for long periods.
• A team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, prep areas, walk-ins, and storage spaces
• Wash and store dishes, pots, pans, glasses, and utensils in designated areas
• Manage trash and recycling, including cleaning bins and maintaining the dock area
• Support kitchen and event teams with setup, breakdown, and occasional dish-up assistance
• Help ensure consistent sanitation standards across all food and beverage workspaces
