Raleigh Durham Embassy Suites in Cary, NC is seeking a part-time kitchen helper. You will clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, wash dishes, manage trash and recycling, support kitchen and event teams with setup and breakdown, and help maintain sanitation standards across food and beverage areas. No experience?

We’ll train the right candidate. A Food Safety Certificate or willingness to complete training within 90 days is preferred.

• Food Safety Certificate or willingness to complete training within 90 days
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, or squat for long periods
• A team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Flexibility to work mornings, nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, prep areas, walk-ins, and storage spaces
• Wash and store dishes, pots, pans, glasses, and utensils in designated areas
• Manage trash and recycling, including cleaning bins and maintaining the dock area
• Support kitchen and event teams with setup, breakdown, and occasional dish-up assistance
• Help ensure consistent sanitation standards across all food and beverage workspaces
