Job summary

Gravity Haus is seeking a reliable Steward/Dishwasher to join our back-of-house team in Steamboat Springs. You’ll help keep the kitchen clean and organized, ensuring sanitation standards are met and supporting the team during service.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to take direction and communicate effectively with the kitchen team.
• Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all kitchen dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware thoroughly.
• Organize and store items in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dish area, machines, floors, walls and sinks.
• Take out trash, recycling and compost; clean bins as needed.
• Assist with basic kitchen prep or maintenance tasks as requested by the chef team.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards and health department regulations.
• Work as a team to support smooth kitchen operations during and after service.
• Alert management to equipment issues or safety concerns.
