Job summary

White Lodging, operating Marriott Indianapolis, is seeking a Dishwasher to help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen. You will support the culinary team by washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and helping with unloading deliveries in a fast-paced environment.

No prior experience is required, but a strong work ethic and ability to stand long hours are essential. This on-site role offers benefits and opportunities within a hospitality-driven company.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required but a strong desire to work hard.
• Ability to stand and move at a fast pace for long periods.
• Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop floors, wash worktables, and clean walls of refrigerators and other assigned equipment using designated chemicals.
• Ensure that the floor and work surfaces are kept free of trash and water to prevent accidents.
• Scrape food from dirty dishes and wash by hand or in the dishwasher.
• Sort silverware and load/unload the dishwasher properly.
• Sort and store all clean china, glass, silver, and display pieces using proper procedures.
• Assist with unloading product from supply trucks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
