Job summary

Atria Senior Living in Kentucky is seeking a dedicated kitchen aide to support daily dining services for residents.

You will work with the Executive Chef and dining staff to maintain a clean kitchen, assist with meal prep, serve meals, and ensure food safety standards.

The role requires a positive attitude, reliability, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, contributing to a warm, restaurant-style dining atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Customer service and resident relations are essential.
• Ability to work with others in a kitchen and dining environment.
• Basic understanding of food safety practices and hygiene.
• Consistently follow policy, procedures and uniform rules.
• Demonstrate a positive can-do attitude and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen and dish area clean, safe, and sanitary.
• Provide high level customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules as assigned.
• Wash and store dishes and equipment per policy.
• Keep kitchen floors clean and trash emptied.
• Maintain dish machine and temperature logs.
• Assist with transportation and storage of food and supplies.
• Complete assigned food preparation as required.
• Adhere to standard food safety practices.
• Assist cooks and wait staff as requested.
• Assist with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals.
• Attend pre-meal stand up in kitchen prior to meal service.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
