Job summary

Atria Senior Living in Philadelphia is seeking a dedicated kitchen/dining assistant to maintain a clean, orderly kitchen and serving area while supporting a restaurant-style dining experience for residents.

You will wash and sanitize dishes, assist cooks and wait staff, follow safety standards, and help with special events and programs. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen and dining areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Wash, clean, sanitize, and store all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other equipment used to operate the kitchen and dining areas.
• Keep kitchen floors clean (sweeps and mops) and trash emptied.
• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant style dining atmosphere.
• Assist with preparation and execution of the Art of Atria Dining enhancement programs.
• Assist cooks and wait staff as requested.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules and standard food safety practices.
• Attend pre-meal stand up in kitchen prior to meal service.
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
