Job summary

Remington Hospitality is seeking a reliable kitchen helper to keep all items and work areas clean and organized in our Austin kitchen. You will follow established guidelines to wash plates, glassware, utensils, pots and pans, and maintain overall cleanliness.

Duties include operating the dish machine, emptying trash, sanitizing containers after use, following MSDS and safety guidelines, and assisting with banquet events as directed by your supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen items (plates, glassware, utensils, pots, pans) and work areas according to guidelines.
• Operate and maintain the dish machine; wash glasses and dishes; manage pots and pans in correct areas.
• Ensure daily cleaning tasks are completed to keep the kitchen neat, including sweeping, mopping, walls, and spill cleanup.
• Empty and sanitize trash cans; replace bags after use.
• Follow MSDS protocols and safety guidelines; support banquet events as directed by supervisor.
