Job summary

The Shack Breakfast and Lunch is seeking a kitchen support role focused on cleanliness and sanitation, with responsibilities including washing glassware by hand, emptying trash, and maintaining orderly side work. You will rotate dishes to reduce wear, follow sanitation policies at all times, and assist prep cooks during peak times.

You will also clean spills and report issues promptly to the appropriate party to maintain a safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary
• Empty and clean all trash receptacles
• Rotate dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources
• Follow sanitation policies at all times
• Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times
• Perform opening, closing and side work
• Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately
• Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to appropriate party
