Job summary

HVMG's hotel kitchen is seeking a reliable Dishwasher/Steward to keep dishes and prep areas sparkling and organized. You will support the culinary team by maintaining sanitation standards and assisting with basic kitchen tasks as needed.

The role requires a dependable, detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic who can handle flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required. Opportunities for growth exist within the hospitality industry.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States
• Sufficient education and/or literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required—with or without reasonable accommodations
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed

Responsibilities

• You will be the dish pit hero of our hotel's kitchen, ensuring a clean and organized workspace that enables our culinary team to shine.
• Your daily tasks will include washing dishes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and assisting with basic food preparation as needed.
• You will report to the Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef.
• A career as a dishwasher/steward can lead to opportunities in various roles within the hospitality industry, such as line cook, prep cook, or even kitchen management positions.
