Job summary

Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to maintain clean and sanitized dishes, utensils, and cookware for cooks, servers, bartenders, guests, and members.

The role requires punctuality, ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, and familiarity with dishwashing machinery and safety practices. A Florida driver’s license is required; basic food prep is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must communicate with Sous Chef or Executive Sous Chef.
• Valid Florida driver’s license required.
• Basic food prep a plus.
• Must understand the terms clean and sanitary.

Responsibilities

• Be punctual at all times.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and split shifts.
• Arrive to work on time, consistently.
• Familiarize with machinery and safety features.
• Know hazardous chemicals and MSDS.
• Bring in trash cans and mats at the start of shift.
• Set up dishwasher for operation and report problems.
• Ensure pots, pans, glasses, plates are clean by washing or dishwasher.
• Set up pre-soak for silverware and wash twice with proper rack handling.
• Participate in kitchen cleaning schedule.
• Perform tasks as requested by other kitchen staff.
• Clean up after shift and complete area housekeeping.
