Job summary

Churchill Downs Incorporated is seeking a Kitchen Steward at Derby City Gaming Downtown to support non-cooking operations, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation in a fast-paced casino kitchen.

You will wash dishes, clean equipment and floors, stock break rooms, and assist with beverage stations while following OSHA and health standards; a high school diploma and some food service experience are preferred, with Racing License eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of food service work experience preferred.
• Able to obtain a Racing License.
• Must follow OSHA regulations and health standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean kitchen work areas and equipment, sweep and mop floors.
• Wash dishes by hand or in dishwasher; clean fryers and vents.
• Report maintenance needs for kitchen areas and equipment.
