Job summary

Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino Lake Tahoe is hiring a Kitchen Worker/Utility Cleaner. Under the supervision of the Sous Chef or F&B Outlet Manager, you will clean and sanitize all kitchen areas and equipment, maintain safe and sanitary conditions, and provide guest-friendly service aligned with the KEEP values.

The role requires basic math, POS familiarity, good people skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must have working knowledge of point of sales systems.
• Must be able to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to work efficiently, independently and cohesively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain uniform appearance according to established guidelines.
• Adhere to policies and procedures.
• Know locations of all Golden Nugget outlets and services for guests.
• Responsible for washing pots, pans and proper sorting and storing them.
• Responsible for cleaning and maintaining dish machines in all outlets.
• Inform Sous Chef/Manager of needed supplies.
• Assist with maintaining a neat, clean and safe working environment.
• Complete special projects as requested by Food and Beverage management.
