Job summary

Tim Ho Wan Houston Katy is seeking a dedicated Busser to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishware in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

The ideal candidate works well with Mandarin or English speakers, can stand long hours, and supports the kitchen team by washing dishes, handling storage, and disposing of waste according to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff in Mandarin or English.
• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to stand for long hours and lift moderate to heavy weights.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & sanitation: wash, clean, and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
• Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, sinks, and workstations.
• Ensure proper storage of cleaned utensils, cookware, and dishware.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables according to hygiene and safety guidelines.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic prep tasks and help organize supplies.
