Job summary

Tim Ho Wan Waikiki is seeking a Dishwasher/Busser to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishware in a fast-paced Hawaiian kitchen.

The role supports the culinary team and requires reliability, attention to hygiene, and the ability to work weekends and holidays. Bilingual English/Mandarin communication is valued to coordinate with staff and ensure safety.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff in Mandarin or English to understand instructions and maintain safety.
• Previous kitchen or food service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Able to stand for long hours and lift moderate to heavy weights.
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, sinks, and workstations.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables according to hygiene guidelines.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic prep tasks when required.
• Follow all kitchen safety, hygiene, and food handling procedures.
