The Industrialist in downtown Pittsburgh is seeking a Dishwasher/Steward to support kitchen operations by cleaning utensils and service ware, ensuring equipment is ready for staff, and maintaining sanitary conditions. Responsibilities include sorting soiled ware, washing and replacing items, maintaining dish areas, and following sanitation standards.
The role may include weekend and holiday shifts and requires adherence to safety guidelines.

The Dishwasher/Steward is responsible for general and specific cleaning task in the kitchen areas, including transporting and cleaning cooking utensils and service ware in order to provide kitchen staff with appropriate equipment. Position also requires cleaning of physical surroundings. Work hours/days vary as dictated by business needs, and may include weekends and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Six months experience as a dishwasher, utility or steward at another restaurant or hotel. Knowledge of safe chemical and equipment handling required. Able to work with little or no supervision. Operate equipment such as, but not limited to, dishwasher, sprayer, and kitchen equipment.
