Job summary

The Gunter Hotel San Antonio is seeking a Kitchen Steward to keep dining areas spotless and ensure proper storage and rotation of inventory. You will support the kitchen team by cleaning, organizing, and maintaining sanitation standards.

This role emphasizes reliability, quick decision-making under pressure, and a friendly, guest-oriented demeanor. Full-time benefits begin after probation, including medical coverage and retirement options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hotel or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean dishes, scrub pots, sweep floors, and take out the trash to keep the kitchen sparkling.
• Store clean china, glass, and silver in proper storage spots with care to avoid breakage.
• Engage guests and teammates with a friendly, can-do attitude and adapt to changing tasks.
• Represent the team with reliability and trustworthy conduct in daily operations.

You'll keep our china, glass, and silver shining, make sanitation a top priority, and team up with the kitchen crew to keep every corner spotless. From scrubbing equipment to organizing utensils and ensuring food is stored and rotated just right, you're the guardian of cleanliness and order in our kitchen kingdom.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
