The Gunter Hotel San Antonio is seeking a skilled Cook to prepare and supervise kitchen operations across outlets including restaurant, café, room service, employee cafeteria, and banquets. You will lead with precision, maintain high standards, and ensure timely, appetizing dishes in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of hotel-related cooking experience, hold a Food Handlers Certification, and demonstrate strong communication under pressure to deliver

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• At least 1 year of experience, or a culinary graduate with at least 1 year of experience in a hotel or related field.
• Food Handlers Certification required. (must comply with State requirements)
• Able to work effectively under pressure, maintaining composure while quickly evaluating situations and determining the best course of action.
• A strong communicator who listens actively to understand concerns raised by coworkers and guests, and effectively conveys ideas and solutions.
