• Help with simple food preparation and kitchen support, including basic prep tasks.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation rules at all times.

About Fairlane Hotel

Fairlane Hotel is a 79-room hotel in downtown Nashville with a full-service restaurant and three kitchens. Our Stewards keep our kitchens clean, organized, and ready for service.

Position Summary

Fairlane Hotel is hiring a Steward to help the kitchen run smoothly by keeping it clean, organized, and safe for food preparation and service.

This role follows strict safety and cleaning rules to support daily kitchen operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Cleaning & Sanitation:

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment by hand or with commercial dishwashers
• Clean and sanitize food prep areas, floors, and storage spaces
• Organize and restock kitchen tools, dishes, and equipment in the correct places

Kitchen Support:

• Help with simple food preparation, such as cutting vegetables or blending soups
• Help the kitchen team stay ready for service and clean up quickly after each shiftive>
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation rules at all times

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Able to stand and stay active for long shifts
• Able to lift 50 to 75 pounds
• Reliable and on time for every shift

Preferred:

• Previous kitchen or stewarding experience
• Works well with a team and communicates clearly

SCHEDULE

Shifts vary and may include nights, weekends, and holidays. This is an on-property position.
