Job summary

Caymas of Naples, Florida, is seeking a Full-Time Kitchen Steward to join our fast-paced hospitality team. You will wash dishes, clean equipment, sanitize work areas, and support the culinary team to maintain smooth kitchen operations. Compensation is $17.00 per hour. No prior experience required; training will be provided.

ServSafe certification is preferred. Regular attendance is expected. Benefits include healthcare, a 401(k) with employer match, and PTO.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sanitizes and properly stocks all dishes, pots, pans, flatware and glassware.
• Maintains cleanliness of entire kitchen including dry storage and walk-in cooler, sweeping & mopping.
• Empties the kitchen trash receptacles and properly disposes of garbage.
• Performs daily cleaning to include dry storage, walk-in shelving, steam tables, hoods and exhaust system.
• Stores all dishes and other wares in proper areas.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Cleans, washes and sanitizes all dishes, cleans kitchen after close.
• Performs other duties as required.

Position Overview

The Kitchen Steward plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. This position is responsible for washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment, sanitizing work areas, and ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Kitchen Stewards support the culinary team by keeping supplies stocked, removing waste, and assisting with general kitchen upkeep to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Compensation: $17.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• - Cleans, sanitizes and properly stocks of all dishes, pots, pans, flatware and glassware.
