The Kitchen Steward is responsible for unloading and spraying off all dishes placed in the dish pit. Shows initiative to keep the dish pit empty and dishes as clean as possible. Must be able to organize and manage dishes for effective cleaning. Also responsible for unloading and spot-checking all dishes from the dish machine, inspecting items, and ensuring they are clean and organized before the end of the shift. The Kitchen Steward follows the established closing checklist provided by the Managing Chef, maintaining their station and equipment in a neat and orderly fashion to meet expectations. Must be able to work early or late hours. Responsible for the upkeep and cleaning of all kitchen equipment, including garbage cans in the kitchen and clubhouse. Ability to work independently and stay on task without supervision. Contribute to a positive work environment. Will work other stewarding positions as needed.
