Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a reliable dishwasher to support fast-paced kitchen operations. You will help keep all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware clean, organized, and ready for service across AM and PM shifts.

This role requires 1 year of dishwashing experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, stand 8–10 hours, and work in a temperature-controlled, chemical-cleaning environment. A neat appearance and non-slip shoes are essential to maintain safety and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, and clean the dish machine.
• Collect dishes from events as needed.
• Wash and dry dishes, equipment and other items.
• Put items in their correct places.
• Take out trash from all kitchen trashcans.
• Break down and properly dispose of all boxes.
• Sweep, scrub, and mop communal areas.
• Scrub floors and walls in dish pit.
• Restock gloves, cleaning supplies, and towels.
• Fulfill opening or closing duties.

Basic Job Responsibility:

A great dishwasher is the backbone to any great kitchen, without one a kitchen cannot serve the guests in a quick and timely manner. We have AM and PM dishwashing shifts and these allow for accommodating many different schedules. We have a beautiful place, and we need you to make sure that every experience is clean and beautiful

Specific Responsibilities:

• Putting together, taking apart, and cleaning dish machine
• Picking up dishes from all events as necessary
• Washing and drying dishes, equipment and other items
• Putting items in their correct places
• Collecting and taking out trash from all kitchen trashcans
• Breaking down and properly disposing of all boxes
• Sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping communal areas
• Scrubbing floors and walls in dish pit
• Restock gloves, cleaning supplies, and towels
• Fulfilling all opening or closing duties

Position Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of dishwashing experience
• Must be able to lift 50 Lbs. on a regular basis
• Must be able to be on your feet for 8-10 hours a day
• Must be able to in extreme temperatures and around cleaning chemicals
• Must have hygienic appearance
• Must have non-slip work shoes

Reports directly to Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and ultimately to the General Manager.
