Job summary

Woodside Communities in a hospitality setting seeks a reliable dishwasher to support a fast-paced kitchen. You will handle dishwashing, sanitation, and organization during AM and PM shifts to keep experiences clean and beautiful for guests.

The role requires at least 1 year of dishwashing experience, the ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long hours, and work around cleaning chemicals in a hygienic, non-slip environment. You will report directly to the Executive Chef and General Manager.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of dishwashing experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours a day.
• Must work in extreme temperatures and around cleaning chemicals.
• Must have a hygienic appearance.
• Must wear non-slip work shoes.

Responsibilities

• Putting together, taking apart, and cleaning dish machine.
• Picking up dishes from all events as necessary.
• Washing and drying dishes, equipment and other items.
• Putting items in their correct places.
• Collecting and taking out trash from all kitchen trashcans.
• Breaking down and properly disposing of all boxes.
• Sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping communal areas.
• Scrubbing floors and walls in dish pit.
• Restock gloves, cleaning supplies, and towels.
• Fulfilling all opening or closing duties.

Basic Job Responsibility

A great dishwasher is the backbone to any great kitchen, without one a kitchen cannot serve the guests in a quick and timely manner. We have AM and PM dishwashing shifts and these allow for accommodating many different schedules. We have a beautiful place, and we need you to make sure that every experience is clean and beautiful.

Specific Responsibilities

• Putting together, taking apart, and cleaning dish machine
• Picking up dishes from all events as necessary
• Washing and drying dishes, equipment and other items
• Putting items in their correct places
• Collecting and taking out trash from all kitchen trashcans
