Job summary

Chick-fil-A Odessa is seeking a Shift Leader to support daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant. You will help ensure food safety, accuracy, and operational efficiency while mentoring teammates to reach their potential.

You lead by example, uphold cleanliness standards, coordinate with Front of House, and run shifts as a key holder. Weekly schedules balance mornings and days with Sundays off to support the brand culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in leadership or supervisory roles preferred in a restaurant setting.
• Ability to lead by example and coach team members for performance.
• Commitment to food safety, quality, and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Participate in running day-to-day kitchen activities in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
• Ensure food safety and quality standards are consistently met.
• Assist in training new kitchen team members and set the shift tone.
• Foster a positive, supportive, and efficient work environment.
• Open and/or close the kitchen, lead shifts, and act as a key holder.
• Maintain inventory counts and complete end-of-day kitchen checks.
• Communicate clearly with team members and leadership.
