Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Utility Worker to support kitchen and facility operations at Indiana State University. You will help maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization across food production and service areas, and assist with setup, breakdown, and supply restocking. High school diploma or GED required, no prior experience necessary.

Flexible shifts and a supportive team environment offered. Responsibilities include dishwashing, cleaning surfaces, and moving supplies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout food production and service areas.
• Clean and sanitize work tables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks; wash dishes; sanitize floors and storage spaces.
• Assist with basic set-up and break-down tasks as directed.
• Transport and store supplies; restock cleaning materials.
• Attend shifts on time and be able to stand for extended periods.
