Job summary

Sodexo at Clarke University in Dubuque, IA is seeking a Utility Worker to support kitchen and facility operations. You will clean and sanitize surfaces, maintain equipment, restock supplies, and assist with setup and breakdown tasks as needed.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, no prior experience, and knowledge of sanitation procedures. Shifts vary; both full-time and part-time options apply; pay is $15.00–$17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, including basic food safety concepts.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes by hand or in a dishwasher.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; remove trash.
• Restock soap, towels, and cleaning supplies.
• Walk/stand for long periods; lift up to 35 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time and perform other duties as needed.
