Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Utility Worker for the Oklahoma County Senior Nutrition Program in Oklahoma City. You will support kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness and organization in food production and service areas, including cleaning equipment, stocking supplies, and helping with set-up and break-down tasks.

Shifts vary; this is a full-time position. A High School diploma or GED is required, and no related work experience is needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, including basic concepts of food safety.
• No related work experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Cleans and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.
• Removes trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Cleans equipment using specific sanitizing chemicals.
• Re-stocks supplies like soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
• Significant walking or other mobility required.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, possibly over 8 hours.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Attends work on schedule.
