Job summary

Sierra Lodgings Inc. is seeking a Stewarding Attendant to uphold cleanliness and sanitation across kitchens and food service areas at our resort-style property.

The role supports culinary and service teams by maintaining a safe, hygienic, and organized working environment in line with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities include operating dishwashing equipment, cleaning and sanitizing utensils, handling waste per hotel standards, and adhering to SDS guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to communicate in English; a second language is a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of basic food hygiene.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with SDS and safe chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchens and dishwashing areas.
• Clean, sanitize, and operate pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment.
• Operate pot-washing machinery and ensure a hygienic work environment.
• Adhere to sanitation guidelines and company standards.
• Collect and dispose of waste per hotel standards; follow recycling guidelines.
• Wash, sort, and stack dishes and prepare them for service.
• Close and sanitize workstations; ensure waste bin area is clean.
• Follow SDS for chemical safety and maintain inventory of cleaners.
• Perform other duties as required by management.
