Job summary

Wind Creek Hospitality is hiring a Kitchen Worker in Illinois to maintain sanitation standards across kitchen and dining areas. You will clean plateware, utensils, and cooking equipment, while ensuring safe handling of cleaning chemicals and proper storage practices.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to work irregular hours including nights and weekends, and compliance with licensing requirements under the Illinois Gaming Act.

Qualifications

• Must meet sanitation and cleanliness standards in kitchen and dining areas.
• Able to operate commercial dishwashing equipment and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Must have an Illinois Gaming Act occupational license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to strict hygiene standards at all times.
• Clean and maintain the dish room and kitchen areas.
• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, pots and pans.
• Inform kitchen leadership of inventory and supply needs.
• Follow proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
• Assist in maintaining safe, healthy premises through cleaning tasks.
