Job summary

Loews Hotels & Co seeks a skilled Engineering Specialist – Kitchen & Refrigeration Mechanic II to service commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment across the property. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs from fryers to ice machines, and ensure safety, compliance, and guest satisfaction, working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced hotel environment.

EPA certification and a valid driver’s license are required; the role demands a proactive, safety-conscious team player who can flex

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience diagnosing, servicing, and repairing commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment.
• EPA Certification is required.
• Valid state driver’s license and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement repairs in a timely manner.
• Repair or replace compressors, thermostats, fans, motors, and related components.
• Service evaporators, condensers, receivers, and valves with proper lubrication and cleaning.
• Safely reassemble and test equipment to ensure optimal function and safety.
