Job summary

Cheryl’s in Westerville, OH seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to lead the Food Production Department. The role focuses on training associates, enforcing GMPs, and ensuring safety and efficiency across shifts.

Responsibilities include supervising production lines, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with Quality Assurance and management to meet production goals. The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for full shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience in a Production/ Manufacturing setting.
• Must be motivated to achieve production goals and have ability to motivate others.
• Must be flexible and able to adapt to a changing production schedule.
• Must be a positive self starter, team oriented, with strong communication skills.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Machine Setup and Operation Guide in the Instruction Manual for the assigned area.
• Train associates as outlined in the Work Instructions in the Instruction Manual for the assigned area.
• Ensure that associates take breaks on time and dress appropriately, enforcing Cheryl’s GMPs and prohibition of personal items during work.
• Move associates to different areas within the Food Production Department based on business needs.
• Be familiar with the product specs and contact Quality Assurance if specs are incorrect or missing information.
• Maintain production quality and labor standards for the assigned area.
• Follow procedures & SOPs for metal detection.
• Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by Food Production Management.
