Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and driving record meeting insurance requirements if operating a company vehicle.

The Kitchen PRN supports daily food service operations by assisting with meal preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. This role is responsible for following established kitchen procedures and contributing to the efficient operation of the food service area.Experience and Educational RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required.1–3 years of experience in food services or a related field preferred.ServSafe certification required or ability to obtain for continued employment.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesBasic understanding of food preparation, handling, and safety protocols.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team.Other RequirementsMust have a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets CWF automobile insurance requirements, if operating a company vehicle.Must have a successful background check.Physical RequirementsFrequent standing and walking for extended periods.Use of hands for food preparation, handling, and kitchen equipment operation.Ability to reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required in a kitchen setting.Must be able to lift 25 lbs and up to 70 lbs with assistance.Ability to work in high-stress environments, requiring emotional resilience and adherence to self-care practices.Working ConditionsModerate noise level in a kitchen environment.Exposure to hot surfaces, kitchen equipment, and food-related hazards.Occasional interaction with vendors and delivery personnel.
