Job summary

Center For Women And Families in Louisville, KY is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support daily food service operations at the Louisville Campus. The Kitchen Assistant supports the Kitchen Supervisor in managing daily food service operations, ensuring consistent meal preparation, adherence to food safety regulations, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. This role assists with meal planning, inventory management, and daily kitchen procedures. The Kitchen Assistant provides guidance to kitchen staff in the absence of the supervisor and supports a smooth and collaborative kitchen environment. This position requires you to work every weekend.

Qualifications: Experience and Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience in food services or a related field preferred.
• ServSafe certification required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

• Must be able to lift 25 lbs and up to 70 lbs with assistance.
