Job summary

Graziano is seeking a Kitchen Prep to perform a variety of food preparation tasks, including cold foods, shellfish, and desserts. You will assist cooks, maintain sanitation, and ensure timely preparation according to orders.

The role requires ability to work in a high-paced kitchen, lift up to 15 pounds, and work late nights or unpredictable hours as needed. Previous kitchen exposure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes.
• Store food properly to prevent spoilage and package take-out.
• Butcher and prepare fowl, fish, poultry, and shellfish for cooking or serving.
• Prepare a variety of foods according to orders or instructions, following procedures.
• Take and record temperatures of food and storage areas.
• Keep records of food quantities used.
• Wash, peel, and cut fruits and vegetables for cooking or serving.
• Place food trays on warmers or in refrigerated storage for service.
