Job summary

Graziano in New York is seeking a kitchen team member to support daily service. You will set up stations, prepare a variety of foods, and ensure items are stored and presented to standard. Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and assist with duties as assigned.

The role requires the ability to work quickly and as part of a team, with flexibility for late hours in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Prior kitchen experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen basics and food safety preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up stations and collect supplies for the service.
• Prepare a variety of foods including meat, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and cold items.
• Arrange sauces and garnishes for the station.
• Store and label prep items properly.
• Notify Chef of shortages.
• Serve menu items per established standards.
• Use tools as instructed.
• Close kitchen and follow closing checklist.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area at all times.
• Keep the area orderly during shifts.
• Store products properly and tidy storage areas.
• Maintain safe, hygienic food handling practices.
• Return dirty utensils to proper areas.
• Assist Kitchen Manager with duties as assigned.
