Job summary

Sodexo is recruiting a Kitchen Porter for Nuffield Brentwood Hospital. You will keep kitchens clean, assist chefs, and support food service to ensure dishes are served to a high standard.

Ideal candidates have a positive attitude and are willing to learn hygiene and safety practices in a busy hospital kitchen environment. Training and protective uniform are provided, with opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude, professionalism, and respect for others.
• The ability to stay on your feet and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn new skills (e.g. food safety, health & hygiene)
• Previous experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Keep workstations and kitchen equipment clean and sanitised.
• Wash and store pots, crockery, and utensils properly.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the pot wash area and machinery.
• Assist with food service, replenishment, and clearing stations.
• Help with stock deliveries and rotation.
