POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY

Incumbent will ensure kitchen and facilities are clean, well-stocked, and safe. The position supports the entire team by maintaining sanitation standards, handling equipment maintenance, and assisting in basic prep and utility tasks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, floors, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Collect and dispose of garbage and recyclables in accordance with safety procedures.
  • Assist with washing and sanitizing pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen tools as needed.
  • Assist with deliveries by receiving, organizing, and storing supplies and food items.
  • Assist with minor food prep or setup tasks as directed.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards (and other local health codes).
  • Possess the ability to react productively to other duties as reasonably assigned.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years old. Prior experience in a restaurant or commercial cleaning role preferred but not required.Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work on your feet for extended periods. Attention to detail. Availability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

EDUCATION

High School diploma, GED or equivalent. Food Handler's license required.

EXPERIENCE

Prior restaurant experience is required to function efficiently in this role. At least 1-3 years in Food & Beverage industry preferred.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Knowledge or ability to be trained in point of sales system. Access to email service. Accommodations may be made.

EVALUATION

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Antelope Point Marina policy regarding employee performance evaluation. The employee understands that a 90 day performance evaluation will be conducted to discuss job responsibilities and performance requirements. Should the employee not meet the performance standards of the position, APM management reserves the right to terminate the employment relationship or relocate the employee to another position within the company, if available.
