Job summary

DoorDash is hiring a Kitchen Operations Associate to prepare meals to standard, keep the kitchen and shared facility organized, and support order fulfillment in a fast-paced DashMart kitchen environment.

You’ll contribute to food safety, quality, and efficiency while collaborating with DashMart partners to ensure an excellent customer experience. This role offers AM/PM/overnight shifts and opportunities for pay increases and career advancement.

Qualifications

• You’re reliable, positive, and team-oriented.
• You have experience in food service, grocery, or beverage operations, or a willingness to learn.
• You’re detail-oriented and passionate about fresh food quality and safety.
• You can lift up to 50 lbs and work in refrigerated areas (with or without accommodation).
• You have a high school diploma or GED.
• You’re willing to complete a Food Handler’s Certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble menu items according to brand and food safety standards.
• Ensure every meal meets quality, accuracy, and presentation standards before handoff.
• Follow all food safety, cleanliness, and dress code compliance guidelines.
• Maintain organized dry, refrigerated, and frozen storage areas.
• Follow cleanliness and sanitation standards across shared workspaces.
• Support inventory organization and proper product rotation (FIFO).
• Collaborate with DashMart Operations Associates to maintain a cohesive and efficient site.
• Assist with light operational tasks as needed to support overall facility success.
• Uphold a One Team mindset to create a positive experience for all team members and customers.
