LOGAN is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee all kitchen operations, drive revenue, train staff, and ensure top-quality food preparation. The role requires strong leadership, inventory control, and adherence to health regulations.

The ideal candidate has culinary training and restaurant management experience, with a proven ability to manage costs, schedules, and vendor relationships while maintaining a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Culinary education preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years restaurant experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year restaurant management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sales figures and food costs.
• Familiarity with equipment including knives, slicer, mixer, salamander, stoves, ovens, Hobart, broiler.

Responsibilities

• Perform line checks to ensure proper plating and temperature.
• Monitor received products and report quality issues.
• Interview, hire, evaluate, and discipline kitchen staff as appropriate.
• Schedule kitchen employees based on forecasts and budget.
• Control food costs via purchasing specs, storeroom systems, recipes, and waste controls.
• Meet health department standards for safe food handling.
