Qualifications

• Current Food Handler's Permit.
• Ability to professionally and appropriately handle conflict.
• Passion for preparing, cooking, and eating food, particularly fresh items.
• Solid communication skills, including verbal and listening skills with diverse groups.
• Excellent organization and planning abilities.
• Ability to accept constructive feedback and drive team success.

Responsibilities

• Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures.
• Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services the kitchen provides.
• Maintains appropriate product assortment and inventory levels.
• Confirms pricing accuracy and signage, with attention to ad items.
• Keeps the kitchen clean, sanitized, and compliant with company standards.
• Delivers excellent customer service to all customers.
• Orders products and creates production sheets to meet kitchen needs.
• Writes the kitchen schedule to ensure coverage and meet labor goals.
• Sets a professional and positive example for others.
• Communicates with Store Director and Director of Kitchen Operations and other teams.
• Ensures safety, sanitation, and productivity standards are met.
• Teaches, mentors, and educates associates for success.
• Provides feedback on performance and improvement areas; addresses concerns.
