Job summary

The role requires basic math, computer skills, and the ability to interpret policies. A forklift certification is required and weekend/evening shifts may be needed to support store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; retail or grocery experience preferred.
• Basic math and numerical accuracy are required.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Forklift certification is required or must be obtained.
• Ability to read and interpret policies; maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Follows established store policies and assists Grocery Manager in store operations.
• Assists with grocery, frozen, and dairy departments’ operations.
• Ensures product quality, freshness, and proper rotation.
• Maintains inventory, stocking, and displays including end-caps.
• Verifies pricing accuracy and signage for all products.
• Delivers strong customer service and supports training new associates.
• Receives, stores, and stocks products; supports ordering based on sales.
• Teacher/mentors associates and supports team success.
• Participates in quarterly inventory and store-wide tasks.
