The role supports shift supervisors and department directors, trains staff, and maintains high-quality food service operations while providing exceptional patient and staff interaction.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a team is a plus.
• Experience in healthcare or food service operations preferred.
• Ability to train and support staff to maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist shift supervisors and department directors in day-to-day function.
• Maintain high quality in all duties and train staff.
• Ensure schedules are assigned and completed daily.
• Set a positive example through professional interactions with staff and customers.
• Participate in outstanding customer service and maintain relationships with patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or director.
• Interact with patients/customers with age-appropriate care.
• Relieve shift supervisor in their absence.
• Adjust or cover schedules during short staffing.
• Monitor and report equipment issues or shortages.
