You will uphold recipe accuracy, monitor inventory, and control labor costs while maintaining quality, speed, and high-volume performance in a busy sports bar environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen management and staff supervision.
• Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
• Ability to manage inventory and ordering.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction to kitchen staff, ensuring execution of all employee duties.
• Monitors kitchen operations for health and fire department compliance.
• Ensures compliance with state, federal, and local food handling requirements.
• Manages kitchen policies and procedures during shifts.
• Performs line cook duties when needed and covers other kitchen positions.
• Maintains proper storage temperatures and up-to-date recipe books.
• Uses daily prep sheets and yield sheets; participates in monthly inventory.
• Anticipates and corrects inventory, systems, and staffing issues.
• Monitors labor costs to meet budgeted goals.
• Oversees training and development of kitchen staff; assists in hiring.
• Supports 30-day and annual reviews for back-of-house staff.
