Art & Jake's Sports Bar in Michigan is seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee a fast-paced, full-service bar and grill. You will drive financial and operational performance, build and coach teams, and ensure compliance with regulations while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will lead staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training, while maintaining service quality and integrity. A strong focus on safety, sanitation, and continuous improvement is required.

Qualifications

• Experience managing high-volume, full-service bar or restaurant operations.
• Strong understanding of cost and labor systems to drive profitability.
• Proven leadership and team development abilities.
• Experience with budgeting, payroll, revenue forecasting, and financial metrics.
• Ability to manage and motivate large staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Establishes restaurant business plans by surveying restaurant demand.
• Meets restaurant financial objectives by developing finances.
• Attracts patrons by developing and implementing marketing, advertising, and public and community programs.
• Controls purchases and inventory by meeting with the account manager.
• Maintains operations by following standard operating procedures, aiming for consistent productivity and quality.
• Maintains patron satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food and beverage service offerings.
• Accomplishes restaurant and bar human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training.
• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy facility by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in the restaurant industry.
• Accomplishes company goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
