Lucky 32 Southern Kitchen in Cary, NC seeks a friendly and energetic Kitchen Manager/Sous Chef to lead our kitchen team in a fast-paced environment. You will uphold our mission to deliver outstanding guest experiences while managing shifts, quality, and safety.

The role requires 5+ years of kitchen leadership in full-service dining, strong leadership and communication skills, and a passion for mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in kitchen leadership in a full-service, moderate to high volume restaurant
• Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor staff
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, enthusiastic environment

Responsabilités

• Communicate clearly and perform consistently while using the mission and values of the organization as your boss
• Ensure each shift is set up for success and runs smoothly by following our systems
• Be capable of cooking and stepping onto the line to work a station during a shift
• Coach and mentor fellow colleagues creating a safe, fair work environment
• Read and communicate orders and coordinate needs from multiple departments and service team members
• Lead a team that prepares and executes food quickly and consistently by following established systems
• Take responsibility for recruiting and developing great staff members
• Take ownership of payroll, food cost and wastage
• Create an environment where leaders are prompted to develop their skills
• Ensure staff attend meetings and education opportunities
